What it does¶

eli5 explains a hard topic in plain words: what it is in one sentence, one concrete analogy from everyday life, and why it matters in one sentence. Jargon is swapped for everyday words, and it stops there until you ask for the next layer.

When to reach for it¶

You invoke this by typing /eli5; the agent won't reach for it on its own. Reach for it when a concept is unfamiliar and the technical explanation isn't landing. For the shortest possible answer without the analogy, use adhd.

It's working if¶

• There is exactly one analogy, and it needs no explanation of its own.
• No term is left undefined.
